I would like to see 4 or 5 recycling centers conveniently located throughout town. Some strategic  locations for these recycling centers could include downtown King St., the Mall, New Market Center, and the schools. These centers would have color coordinated receptacles where green could be glass, blue could be plastic, yellow could be paper, and red could be aluminum. The openings of these receptacles would be size specific, so it would be difficult to put a recyclable in the wrong receptical. These centers would be relatively inexpensive and, in the long run, could save the community money on trash/landfill fees.

I would also like to see a coordinated recycling system not only throughout town, but also on the ASU campus, and at apartment buildings. That way our residents can get clear messages on which recyclable goes in which receptacle no matter if they are in town or on campus.
